The typical e-scooter has an average speed of 15 mph with some being able to 30 mph. Firstly, electric skateboards can be used on top of any type of terrain (even grass) whereas electric scooters can’t; this means that not only is it more helpful but it’s also more fun!
Secondly, they go faster at the same price point. The average speed for an e-skateboard is around 20 mph with lighter, smaller boards reaching up to 30 mph. The typical e-scooter has an average speed of 15 mph with some being able to go as fast as 24+ mph.
